Overview:

The Higher Diploma in Financial Services Analytics - Apprenticeship program is a two-year full-time apprenticeship that combines paid on-the-job training with academic study. The program is designed to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to become registered as an IFS Specialist with SOLAS.


Objectives:

  • To provide graduates with the education and training necessary to become registered as an IFS Specialist with SOLAS.
  • To develop skills in the areas of data mining, data management, and data analysis within the context of International Financial Services.

Program Description:

The program is structured over two calendar years (September to August inclusive). On-the-job modules are structured to run over three semesters each with final deliverable submissions to coincide with the end of Semester 3 and Semester 6. Assessment of off-the-job modules comprises a combination of continuous assessment and terminal exams. On-the-job assessment is via an ongoing electronic portfolio of evidence in year 1 and a final project in year 2.
