The Pre-Veterinary Master’s Program is an accelerated veterinary education program designed for career changers holding undergraduate degrees in fields other than typical pre-veterinary majors. Offered by the Medical University of the Americas, this 2-semester, 8-month program prepares students for admission to St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine’s veterinary program. Upon successful completion, students receive a Master’s Degree in Biological Science from the Medical University of the Americas. The curriculum is delivered online asynchronously, allowing for flexible attendance across various time zones and part-time study options. The program starts three times a year: January, May, and September. A key benefit is guaranteed admittance to the DVM program at St. Matthew's University, saving time and avoiding the separate application process. Students can earn both a Master's in Biological Science (MSc) and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in less than five years. The program also fosters networking opportunities among students. Faculty are 100% PhD, DVM, or MD holders.
