Program Overview


The MA Cultural Differences & Transnational Processes (CREOLE) is a 2-year, EU-funded program that provides students with a deep understanding of complex societies, cultural diversity, and transnationalism. Students spend two semesters at Maynooth University and two semesters at a partner university in Europe, culminating in a thesis with supervisors from both institutions.   • Students spend 2 of the 4 semesters at partner universities across Europe.
  • Offered by Maynooth University.
  • Provides a unique opportunity to analyze complex societies, cultural diversity, transnationalism, visual and popular culture.
  • Program is taught in English, with proficiency in the language of the chosen partner university (French, German, Spanish, Polish, or Slovenian) being desirable.
