Entry Requirements


For all applicants:

  • equivalent of a Merit or above in a Masters degree
  • This includes:
  • Science
  • Social science
  • Engineering
  • Relevant research and/or industry experiences
  • may be taken into consideration for individuals with exceptional strengths in these areas.

English Proficiency Requirements:

  • Applicants whose first language isn't English are expected to have achieved:
  • Minimum 7.0 on the IELTS test (with no score below 6.0 for individual sections)
  • Minimum 100 on the TOEFL internet-based test (with a minimum of 20 in Listening, Reading, and Writing and 21 in Speaking)
  • Minimum 7.0 on the University of Reading TEEP test (with no element below 6.0)
