Program Overview


This one-year Second Level Master Program in Implantology and Third Molar Extractions provides both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in modern implantology, from diagnosis to prosthetic rehabilitation.   • Students will become familiar with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Description:

  • The program is directed by the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano and Gangnam International Implant Academy (GIIA), Korea.
  • The teaching is blended, combining on-campus lessons (25%) and live distance learning (75%).
  • During the program, students will be supervised by the GIIA team in collaboration with Istituto Stomatologico Toscano (IST).
  • The final certification is a Second-level Master course in “Implantology and Third Molar Extractions” with the award of 60 credits (CFU).

  • Module 1: Online (October 16th-21st)

  • Module 4 will take place in Italy, with two days in Lido di Camaiore and four days in Rome.

Individual Modules:

  • Module 1: Focuses on anatomical and biological considerations, hopeless teeth and alternatives, and extractive surgery.
  • Module 2: Covers post-extractive implants, immediate loading procedures, hygiene protocols, and implant prosthetic design.
  • Module 3: Includes bone and soft tissue reconstruction procedures, maxillofacial surgery, and peri-implant soft tissue management.
  • Module 4: Addresses prosthetic components and solutions, computer-guided surgery, and implant prosthetic maintenance.
