The Master's in Tolerance Studies and Global Peace from UCAM and GCTP prepares students to address challenges of multiculturalism and become changemakers in peaceful conflict resolution. Program Outline
Degree Overview:
The Master’s Degree in Tolerance Studies and Global Peace is a Continuing Education Master offered by the Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) in collaboration with the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP).
Objectives:
- To prepare peacebuilders and tolerance advocates to address challenges of multiculturalism, including violence, terrorism, aggressive nationalism, racism, exclusion, marginalization, and discrimination.
- To equip students with the knowledge and skills to become changemakers, leaders, entrepreneurs, critical thinkers, and decision-makers in multicultural societies.
- To foster a culture of tolerance and peaceful conflict resolution. It aims to cultivate feelings of openness, respect, solidarity, and sharing based on a sense of security in one's own identity and a capacity to recognize the many dimensions of being human in different cultural and social contexts.
