You can choose from among the following programs: The Bachelor of Computer Science degree is a 4-year program meant to meet and exceed CIPS and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) standards for undergraduate programs. Our program provides a mix of the following: The degree requires that you complete all core courses with grades of C- or better and a PGPA of at least 2.0. For the Bachelor of Applied Computer Science, we offer defined options in the following: The BACS and BSc also offer options to take a second major or an interdisciplinary minor. Our programs are designed for students who do not have any programming experience. If you do have programming experience, please let us know. We may be able to fast-track your first-year courses. As you learn, you will also develop skills in interpersonal relations, communication, teamwork, project management, and entrepreneurship. Our second major and interdisciplinary study options allow you to combine computer science with other areas of science, arts and professional studies at Acadia.
