- This LLM provides an opportunity to analyse how technology, media and telecommunications law has affected the application of traditional legal principles.

- You have the option to attend the annual Residential Weekend for Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law Online Learning students, giving you the chance to network with staff, alumni and fellow students.

- The programme is delivered via our web-based online learning environment (OLE). All written assignments are submitted through the e-learning system. You are encouraged to interact with teaching staff and other students in online discussion forums, join group activities and be part of the student community.
- The flexible nature of this programme allows you the full benefit of studying for a recognised UK university qualification whilst still in full-time employment.
- Non law graduates can take a Pre-Sessional Module on Legal Systems, Research Skills and Writing for IT Law.
Assessment:
- In your taught online modules you will be assessed by coursework: tasks (30%) plus final essay (70%), or tasks (30%) plus final assessment exercise (70%). Research paper: optional attendance at the residential weekend (presentation and 5,000 word essay).

Entry Requirements:
EU home and international overseas students outside the EU:
- IELTS 7.0 overall, including 7.0 in Writing, and 5.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking.
- TOEFL ibt 100, including 22 in Reading, 24 in Listening and 25 in Speaking and Writing.
- Pearson Test of English (Academic): 76, including 75 in Writing
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of a Pre-Sessional Module on Legal Systems, Research Skills and Writing for IT Law may be required for students who have a non-law degree or who have been away from academic studies for some time.
- Students whose first language is not English must normally demonstrate competence at the equivalent of IELTS 6.0, or equivalent, on a recognized English language test before starting the Pre-sessional module in September.
- Non EU applicants may need to provide additional documentation for visa purposes, such as an academic reference or a personal statement.
