Degree requirements

A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in a relevant subject. The course is aimed at qualified doctors, physiotherapists and osteopaths. Applicants need at least one year of clinical experience. If you are a physiotherapist with an overseas qualification, you must be registered with the Health Professions Council.

Applicants must hold an IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component. English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0 may be accepted from other UKVI approved providers.


Pre-sessional English

Applicants are eligible for a pre-sessional English route if they meet the academic requirements for entry but do not meet the English language requirements. The pre-sessional English route is an 8-week or 16-week course (depending on your current level of English) which you must successfully complete before starting your postgraduate programme. The required pre-sessional level for entry to this programme is 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
