Cardiac and Vascular Medicine MRes
Degree Overview:
This 1-year full-time MRes program aims to:
- Train researchers in advanced molecular and cellular pharmacological techniques.
- Provide researchers with skills for successful careers in UK Life Sciences, focusing on deeper phenotyping in cardiac and vascular inflammation research (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, atherosclerosis, pulmonary hypertension, hypertension, arrhythmia, nephrology or cancer). The program focuses on three research areas:
- Cardiac Inflammation and Cardiovascular Risk
- Microvascular inflammation and vascular permeability
- Microenvironment in Cardiovascular Inflammation

- Inflammation: Cellular and Vascular Aspects (3-month intensive course of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and practicals)

- Develop their practical and analytical skills in a state-of-the-art facility.
