Course Description

The Higher Certificate in Business Management (TU673) is a two-year theoretical and practical introduction to fundamentals principles of business management. It seeks to provide those completing the course with a foundation for a career path in business management. Alternatively, the certificate allows the student to transfer to either year two or three of an honours business degree, and therefore forms a basis for further more advanced study where sufficiently high marks are achieved in the higher certificate examinations.

This course introduces the student to the fundamental principles of managing a 21st century business organisation, with a focus on Business Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Information Technology & Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship.
