The MSc Finance and Financial Law program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fast-changing world of finance and financial law. Structure:
The program is structured over two years. In the first year, students take six core modules. In the second year, students choose four elective modules and complete a dissertation.

- Bank Financial Management: This module examines the role and importance of bank financial management to the modern bank. Topics covered include the microeconomic problems of financial management of banking firms, the different trends shaping banking markets, and the concentration of the banking sector.
- Banking and Capital Markets: This module explores the functions of financial intermediaries, evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of bank-oriented and market-oriented financial systems, and discusses the economic and financial crises of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
- Corporate Governance: This module examines the key legal, political and economic features of the major corporate governance systems found around the world, analyzes how corporate governance systems influence performance, and discusses the evolution of diverse ownership and governance structures across different economies.
- Law and Regulation of Electronic Finance and Internet Banking: This module examines the development of internet banking from its earliest days to the most recent developments, and considers future prospects for electronic finance and internet banking.
- Regulation of International Capital Markets: This module examines the public regulation of financial markets and the relationship between government and the market.
- Research Methods: This module introduces students to the principles and methods of research. Topics covered include research design, data collection, and data analysis.

Entry Requirements:
UK applicants
- Applicants should possess an upper second class Honours Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Law, Business Management, Accounting or another similar degree.
- Applicants must have passed an introductory university-level course in economics.
- Relevant professional experience may also be taken into account if you do not hold an appropriate bachelor's degree.
EU applicants
- Entry requirement are the same as those for UK applicants.
