- Applicants with a degree in an unrelated field may be considered if they have relevant experience and can demonstrate the ability to work at postgraduate level.

- An undergraduate degree of at least upper second-class standard in education, linguistics, or another relevant subject.
- International qualifications must be equivalent to a UK upper second-class honors degree.

Language Proficiency Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall with a 6.5 in writing and no element lower than 5.5.
