The Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Global) program at De Montfort University (DMU) is designed for early career professionals and graduates who want to enhance their abilities and gain leadership skills in a constantly changing business environment. The program focuses on developing analytical and numerical skills, critical evaluation and appraisal, problem identification and problem-solving skills, as well as effective interpersonal and team-building skills.

Description:
The program is delivered through a combination of weekly large group sessions, tutorials, online resources, and self-directed study. The course uses a block teaching approach, where students study one subject at a time. This allows students to engage with their learning, receive regular feedback and assessments, get to know their course mates, and enjoy a better study-life balance. They will also have access to the Kimberlin Library, which offers a space to work, study and access a vast range of print materials, with computer stations, laptops, plasma screens and assistive technology also available.

Teaching and Assessment:
- The course relies on a mixture of weekly large group sessions, tutorials, online resources, and self-directed study.
- Formative in-class feedback is used to engage learners in reflecting on their learning and meeting the assessment outcomes.
- The program utilizes a variety of learning technologies, including Learning Zone, Collaborate Ultra, DMU Replay, MS Teams, Turnitin, and more. Students can also access LinkedIn Learning and learn how to use Microsoft 365 and study support software through the new Digital Student Skills Hub.
Teaching Contact Hours:
- This is a full-time course, and students should be prepared to devote approximately 2 hours of lectures, 6 hours of workshop, and 2 hours of asynchronous activity each week.
