Program Overview
This four-year BSc (Hons) in Dietetics and Nutrition provides students with the knowledge and skills to become qualified dietitians. Through theoretical and practical learning, including full-time NHS work placements, students develop the expertise to diagnose and treat nutrition-related medical issues. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to apply for HCPC registration as dietitians, opening doors to careers in healthcare, health advising, and more.

Overview:
This undergraduate degree provides students with the knowledge and skills to become qualified dietitians. Students will learn about the role of diet and nutrition in disease prevention and treatment, focusing on life and nutritional sciences. Graduates will obtain the necessary skills to diagnose and treat individuals facing nutrition related medical problems. The program incorporates various teaching methods, including hands-on experience through practice-based learning with full-time work placements in the National Health Service (NHS). Successful completion of the course allows eligibility to apply to the register of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Dietitian.
