This part-time, 12-week program explores the concepts of IoT and cloud computing, providing practical experience in developing cloud-based IoT systems. Students will gain knowledge in architectures, design, data storage, and analysis, preparing them for careers in the field. • Explore the concepts of the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing.
• Develop an understanding of the underlying principles of architectures and design of cloud-based IoT systems.
• Gain knowledge on implementing these systems in storing and analyzing data.
• Acquire practical experience in developing cloud-based IoT systems.

Weeks 1-10:

• Weekly one-hour online lecture (recorded).
• Two-hour face-to-face class-based teaching (Wednesdays, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm).
• Two-hour online classes (Thursdays, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm).

Weeks 11-12:

• Weekly two-hour synchronous online classes (Thursdays, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm).

Assessment:

• Coursework.
