This highly practical course has placements in each year, which will enable you to relate theory to practice and gain transferable hands-on skills.
This course is also available as a general Education BA (Hons) degree.
"Our collaboration aims to build an Education community and social connections between new students from the very beginning of the course. These social collaborations form the foundation to collectively build enjoyable learning experiences, which will involve an engagement throughout each year of study with organisations, practitioners and participants operating within a variety of education settings. We feel that this is an important part of the learning process as an Education student, and helps to bring to life and meaningfully connect with subject specific issues to enable critical examination of contemporary education and society."
Nick Ponsillo, Director of the Philip Barker Centre
