This program focuses on the United States, the sole superpower in our multi-polar world and a vital force in international politics. It explores the changing place of the US in the world, investigates the personalities and power behind the Oval Office, and examines the impact of the iconic civil rights movement on American politics and culture.

Entry Requirements:
2:2 degree in any humanities or social science subject or demonstrated professional or relevant qualifications or experience. English language requirements may also apply.

Traditional essays, commentaries on specific texts or approaches, briefing papers, case studies, reflective research reports, individual or group presentations, and a final dissertation.
Teaching:
Small-group seminars led by academic experts, independent study, individual and group presentations, dissertation with supervisor guidance.
