Portfolio Requirements:

  • Up to five pages of a script (radio, TV, or film) showcasing your comedy writing skills.
  • A 300-word piece critically analyzing a discontinued sitcom, proposing its modernization and relevance for a contemporary audience.
  • This piece should identify the target audience, potential stars, and overall vision for the revamped show.

Language Requirements:

  • International applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency as follows:
  • IELTS: Achieve a minimum overall score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each subsection (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
  • TOEFL iBT (online test): Achieve a minimum score of 88 overall with at least 21 in all four components.
  • LanguageCert (online test): Obtain a High Pass in the ESOL B2 Communicator test (all four components; reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
