This module will enable you to pursue an independent line of investigation in a topic related to medical imaging. The scope will be broad enough to provide the means by which you are able to further your professional and personal development in a selected area. You will, with appropriate guidance, choose the means by which you are assessed.

Course summary
The content of this module will depend upon the agreed topic area, but it will be relevant to health and medical sciences and within the scope of the expertise of the supervising tutor. You will submit a proposal and once the topic and assessment has been agreed, you and your supervisory tutor will together negotiate and agree a structured learning contract which will include a clear outline of the area of study.

.Timetables
The teaching timetable should be available from the end of August. Access to the timetable is through the Student Hub – you will be able to access the Student Hub after you have completed online registration. The teaching day is 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday; please keep your other commitments open until confirmation of your teaching timetable, and bear in mind that many courses will offer placements or fieldwork which sometimes extends into the evenings and weekends.
