Led by experts Louise Lewis and Rhona Williams, the program includes clinical placements that provide hands-on experience and support to prepare students for a career in healthcare.

- Content:
- Factors that predispose the neonate to ill health
- Recognition of deviations from normal health status
- Initiation of appropriate monitoring, care, and referral for the compromised or sick neonate
