Program Overview
This program combines coursework in health, exercise, and performance to prepare students for careers in the sports and health industries. Students will learn from experts in the field and gain practical experience through placements with professional sports teams, the NHS, and other organizations. The program is endorsed by the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register and accredited by the Hong Kong Nutritionists Society, providing graduates with global career opportunities.

- You'll be taught by experts who know your name, tutors who work with both elite-level sports performers and NHS patients, and who will help you develop your understanding of nutrition, exercise physiology and psychology.

- You’ll learn to help athletes and physically active people improve their performance through exercise physiology and nutritional practices, by studying in a modern, dynamic, evidenced-based way.
- This includes splitting your time between learning on campus – in some of the best facilities in the country – and out on placement. These work-based opportunities are built into your degree thanks to our links with professional sports teams, the NHS, nutritional health providers and schools, and give you the chance to transfer the theory into real-world practical situations.
Tuition fees
UK International How much is it? Tuition fees £9,250 per year The amount you pay may increase each year, in line with inflation - but capped to the Retail Price Index (RPI). Additional costs you may have to pay Your tuition fees will cover most costs associated with your programme. There are some extra costs that you might have to pay, or choose to pay, depending on your programme of study and the decisions you make: Books (you can borrow books on your reading lists from the library, but you may buy your own) Optional field trips Study abroad (incl. travel costs, accommodation, visas, immunisation) Placement costs (incl. travel costs and accommodation) Student visas (international students) Laptop (you’ll have access to laptops and computers on campus, but you may want your own) Printing and photocopying Professional-body membership Graduation (gown hire and photography) Remember, you’ll still need to take into account your living costs. This could include accommodation, travel, food and more. You can take out a tuition fee loan to cover the full cost of your course. One you’ve successfully applied for this, you don’t need to do anything else – the money is sent straight to us. You can also take out a maintenance loan of up to £10,227 a year to cover your living costs, depending on your household income. Remember, you won’t start paying your loans back until you’ve left University and earn more than £25,000 per year. How much is it?
