UK: £4,786 International & EU: £25,290 Prices are based on the annual fee for full-time study. Fees for part-time study are half the full-time fee. Irish nationals who are living in the Common Travel Area of the UK, EU nationals with settled or pre-settled status, and Internationals with Indefinite Leave to remain status can also qualify for home fee status.

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


UK/EU Students:

  • A Master's degree in Business or Management at Merit (60%) or above, with a significant component in the relevant field.
  • If you have a Master's degree in a different subject, you can still apply but will need to demonstrate specialist academic knowledge in the intended research area, through your Master's dissertation or relevant experience.
  • If you lack the required qualifications, consider the integrated MRes route.

International/Non-EU Students:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited university, with a minimum grade equivalent to a UK Merit (60%) or above.
  • If your Master's degree is not in Business or Management, you will need to provide evidence of specialist academic knowledge in the chosen research field.
  • Additionally, you will need to meet the English language requirements outlined below.

All Applicants:

  • A strong research proposal (3000 words maximum).
  • A current CV.
  • Two academic references.
  • Transcripts and degree certificates.
  • Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable).
  • The name of a potential supervisor (optional).

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS: Overall score of 7.0 with no sub-score below 6.5.
  • TOEFL (ibt, myBest, or atHome): Overall score of 94 with Reading 19, Listening 20, Speaking 20, and Writing 21.
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 66 with no sub-score below: Listening 59, Reading 60, Speaking 59, Writing 74.
  • Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE): Overall score of 185, with no sub-score below 176.
  • Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): Overall score of 185, with no sub-score below 176.
  • Oxford English Test: Overall OELLT 8, with R&L OIDI level 7 (Reading 25-26 and Listening 18-19) and W&S OIDI level 8.
  • Trinity College Tests: ISE II, III & IV Pass with Pass in all sub-tests.

Alternatives to English Language Qualification:

  • Degree from a majority-English speaking country (as defined by the UKVI).
  • Undergraduate 2+2 degree from a majority-English speaking country with the final two years completed in that country.
