Degree Overview
This is an advanced and progressive programme that presents you with a unique opportunity to understand historical and contemporary developments in the economy, politics, culture, and society of Russia and the countries of Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
Objectives:
- To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the history, culture, politics, economics, and society of Russia and the countries of Eastern Europe and Eurasia
- To develop students' analytical and research skills
- To prepare students for a variety of careers related to Russia and Eastern Europe, including government, diplomacy, business, academia, and journalism
Description:
The programme is taught by a team of internationally renowned experts in the field of Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies. Students will have the opportunity to take a variety of courses on topics such as Russian history, politics, economics, culture, and society; European integration; the politics of Central Asia; and the Caucasus. Students will also have the opportunity to complete a dissertation on a topic of their choice.

Assessment
