The MSc Land & Hydrographic Surveying with Work Placement

Program Description:

The MSc Land & Hydrographic Surveying with Work Placement program is a 15-month full-time program. The program is divided into two semesters of taught modules, followed by a six-month work placement.


Semester 1:

  • GEOSPATIAL FUNDAMENTALS
  • PRINCIPLES OF GIS
  • LAND SURVEYING I
  • TOPOGRAPHIC MODELLING AND LANDSCAPE MONITORING

Semester 2:

  • APPLIED LAND SURVEYING
  • ENGINEERING SURVEY
  • GNSS AND GEODESY
  • GEOSPATIAL DATA INFRASTRUCTURES AND LAND ADMINISTRATION
  • HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY
  • LAND SURVEYING II

Work Placement:

The work placement is an integral part of the program and provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. Students will work with a variety of land, hydrographic, and engineering companies, gaining valuable experience in the surveying industry.
