Minimum AIAS Level: 3.0 An interview is required for admission. interview format Our online interviews take the form of a group interview made up of 3 sections. Throughout the interview, interviewers will be observing your interpersonal skills and how you participate within the group. They will consider your knowledge and understanding of education in Scotland and any previous experience you may have. Group task You will undertake a task with a group of other applicants. In this activity we will be discussing the attributes of an effective teacher, so it would be helpful if you could consider, before the interview, the qualities and characteristics teachers should demonstrate. Presentation You will present a two-minute prepared presentation to the rest of the group (approximately 12 other applicants and the interview panel). Your presentation content should be informed by relevant policy and research. You should present without visual aids such as PowerPoint and we ask that you do not read from notes. You may use brief notes written on cue cards for reference. You should choose one of the topics below for your presentation. What are the benefits and challenges of delivering an arts education as part of your responsibility as a broad general practitioner? How do you see the arts positioned in the primary school? English Proficiency Requirements:For direct Admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores: Minimum TOEFL iBT: 78(Minimum TOEFL Reading: 18, Minimum TOEFL Listening: 19, Minimum TOEFL Reading: 23, & Minimum TOEFL Speaking: 18) Minimum IELTS overall: 6(Minimum IELTS Reading: 5.5, Minimum IELTS Listening: 5.5, Minimum IELTS Reading: 6, & Minimum IELTS Speaking: 5.5) Minimum PTES overall: 59(Minimum PTES Reading: 59, Minimum PTES Listening: 59, Minimum PTES Reading: 60, & Minimum PTES Speaking: 59) Minimum SAT Reading: 500 & Minimum SAT writing: 500 (The institute does not give clear requirements of total SAT score.) For conditional admission, you are required to provide English proficiency scores.
